Future Visions: Biobuilding  As explained on the synthetic biology page and in my synthetic biology video, in the future we may be able to create new forms of life one gene at a time. As a possible result, we may be able to create a new kind of acorn that grows directly into a kind of quite literal "tree house" or "biobuilding" as fancifully illustrated above!
